About

I’ve spent over 20 years working in technology, supporting both small businesses and, for more than a decade, the healthcare industry. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to gain a wide range of technical and creative skills — from networking and VoIP communications to web and graphic design and IT project management. That background shaped the way I work today: organized, efficient, and always focused on making the process easy for the people I serve.

Photography, however, has been part of my life for much longer.

My love for photography began as a child, inspired by my grandparents’ love of travel. My grandfather documented their adventures and family life, filling an entire wall of bookcases with photo albums. I spent hours flipping through those pages, soaking in the memories he preserved — moments they could revisit anytime they wanted. That experience stayed with me.

When we had kids, I wanted to create the same kind of lasting memories for our family. When my son was born I started staging and styling shoots with some of the earliest digital cameras (yes, the ones that saved photos to 3½" floppy disks… yikes!). As my daughter was born and my camera gear improved, so did my curiosity — especially around lighting and storytelling through images.

The kids got older and became involved in sports and photography took on a new energy. I loved being mat- and field-side, capturing the action, emotion, and excitement — and watching athletes and families light up when they got to relive those moments.

In 2015, while still shooting plenty of sports action, I began focusing more on portrait photography. By 2017, I officially formed the DBA for my photography business. Sports have always been my passion, and as sports portraits evolved — especially with the rise of composite portraits — I found the perfect blend of my technical mindset and creative side. I was hooked.

After extensive research and education — learning not just the art of photography and design, but also how to run a business and work efficiently with larger organizations — I expanded into team and organizational portraits. In 2020, Danielle Mosier Photography & Design LLC was formed with one clear goal: to provide high-quality, professional photography while keeping the experience approachable, organized, and stress-free for every client. At the heart of it all, I’m someone who values people, stories, and the moments worth remembering — and I’m honored to help capture them.
